Emilie Maillot was crowned Queens Réunion 2011

Emilie Maillot was crowned Queens Réunion 2011 at the pageant held on June 4, 2011 at the Daniel Narcisse Complex in La Possession. Emilie Maillot of La Montagne is 22 year old and stands 1.79m. The national organization and the local newspapers announced that the winner of the pageant will represent Réunion in Miss World 2011 in London, England on November 6. She will be the first representative from the African island in the international pageant.

Representing the city of Marília, 22-year old model Rafaela Butareli was crowned Miss Sao Paulo Universe 2011 during an event held at the América Latina Memorial in Sao Paulo.
The 1.78 m beauty who is a nursing student, was elected one of the 10 semifinalists by votes emmited through sms and internet. The 1st runner-up was Araraquara (Mariana Silvestre)and the 2nd runner-up was Mairipora (Nathalia Bernardes).
Butareli will now compete in the Miss Brazil Universe pageant to be held on 23rd July. The winner will be the host contestant during the Miss Universe 2011 finals to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil in September.

Katarina Martinez was properly crowned as Miss International Guam 2011
Katarina Martinez was properly crowned On June 3rd. The Miss Universe Guam pageant took place with Shayna Jo Afaisen taking top honors. However, at the end of the event, Alexandra Sanchez had been crowned Miss International Guam, and Katarina Martinez had been awarded 1st runner-up sash.
After the pageant, apparently there had been a mistake announcing the winners. During the post-pageant conference, Katarina Martine was awarded the Miss International sash, while Alexandra Sanchez was reduced to 2nd runner-up.

LISA TEAGUE ~ DESIGN IN PORTSMOUTH
Interior designer Lisa Teague moved from a 4,000-square-foot farmhouse in New Hampshire to this 640-square-foot row house in Portsmouth. This tiny coastal house was not only her home but a testing ground for her use of color from her own line of self-mixed paint.
What started as a plan to use neutral colors evolved into a house full of color. Teague also used open cabinetry and large pieces of furniture to trick the eye into thinking there was more space. ENJOY!

Sara Elkhouly was crowned Miss Mediterranean 2011
The Miss Mediterranean 2011 pageant took place last night in Nicosia, Cyprus. Fifteen countries participated in the pageant. The Top 8 finalistas were: Macedonia, Russia, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Albania, Cyprus, Slovenia, and Egypt.
Miss Mediterranean 2011 is Miss Egypt, Sara Elkhouly, 1st runner-up is Miss Mecedonia and 2nd runner-up is Miss Lebanon.

Interior desighners Suysel dePedro Cunningham and Anne Maxwell Foster met in college and have been great friends since. In 2010 the duo opened a design business, Tilton Fenwick.
When Cunningham bought this farmhouse in Woodstock, New York, the team renovated the farmhouse, starting from scratch. What resulted is this beautiful home. ENJOY!
